Default eg clutch issue?

Eg hatch. B18c5. Runs fine but it seems like the clutch doesn't always want to engage/disengage.it doesn't slip and shifts smooth most of the time but sometimes I push the clutch to the floor and it's like it get a stuck in gear or I try to shift into a gear and sometimes it doesn't wanna go into gear. It feels like it goes in but I let out of the clutch and give it gas and it grinds.

Yeah it's full. could old fluid cause this? Probably gonna try some fresh fluid and bleed it. I've got a few thoughts on what it might be.. just seeing what others have to say about it as well

Let me guess.....when the swap was being put in, the clutch (pressure plate and/or disk) was never replaced?

Not sure. Bought it for a DD while I restore/rebuild my crx. The clutch is very stiff. Guy said it had a stage 4 clutch. The car itself is very clean though. Doesn't smoke no leaks. It's about perfect other than this clutch problem. I'm hoping it's something simple

Is the MTF low in the transmission? Have you replaced it with fresh MTF?
