well its come to a point where i have no choice other than ask Honda-tech for suggestions. I will put this into a simple format for you guys.

specs:

92 civic dx hatch
d16z6, d15b7 tranny, d15b7 injectors/fuel rail, fpr, skunk2 intake manifold, str68mm throttle body, port n polished head, head milled .010, hp racing 4-2-1 header, crap exhaust. p28 auto ecu, converted manual myself, unchipped (used to be i cut the jumper and removed the chip)

the problem:

Car dies/weird idle.

When coming to a stop i push the clutch in and the rpms will drop down like normal, and sometimes (mabey twice a day) instead of resting around 700-1k it just keeps falling and dies. It always fires right back up, every now and then it will turn over very slowly before it does.

the idle issue is random, when im at a stop and the car is running, it idles fine around 6-800 rpms, but sometimes, rarely it will jump between 500 rpm and 800 rpm and stumbles pretty bad.

Car also has a random stumble while accelerating, its not smooth.

Things ive done:

cleaned IACV, NO FITV!!!, adjusted throttle cable, adjusted idle screw, calibrated tps, no vacuum leaks, properly bled coolant, new spark plugs, wires, dizzy cap/rotor, fixed sticky throttle plate, new map sensor (used to throw a code but has been fixed), new fuel filter

compression test shows 150 across the board, i did not use oil in the cylinders and its a cheap tester.

Car does not burn any oil/coolant and does not leak anything.

My suggestions to myself:

replace IACV entirely, replace fuel pump.

What i want from Honda-Tech:

any more suggestions on what could be causing this issue other than the 2 listed above, i have plenty of parts at the shop i work at i can get for free/cheap. But i dont know what else to replace/look at to fix this problem. Both are random, but happen every day.

bump, i changed the iacv and it still does it.

now it idles better than before, when i push the brakes or when the fan comes on the idle doesnt dip.

my tps is set to .36 closed and 4.7 WOT, thats as close as i could get it to 4.5 WOT

could that low closed throttle setting cause it?

still need suggestions, its dangerous to have my car die while coming to a stop

also look for vacuum leaks or dirty plugs

new plugs, no vacuum leaks.

its a skunk2 manifold as well and has a 68mm throttle body.

also, it will only seem to die if im holding the brake, if i have the car moving, and let it roll to a stop without pushing the brakes, it usually doesnt die.

also, if imholding the brakes and downshift, the pedal drops a bit then holds again.
