Default **Rear Caliper piston seized. Need ASSISTANCE**

My Passenger rear caliper piston is seized on my 00 Si rear brakes. I am by no means a mechanic.. but have always changed my brakes pads myself.... etc. I was wondering how hard it is to change out a caliper?
Any help is appreciated thanks

you could probably free it, try greesing the guide pins, or even working the piston in and out (but make sure it doesn't pop out), worked for me!

The piston isn't moving at all, its been seized for a while by how the brake pads were worn. The outer pad was completly worn to nothing while the inner pad still had some life on it

oh well, as you said then easiest thing would be to just replace it. Very easy job as long as you've got someone to pump the pedal for when you bleed the system again.

if you run the clear hose for bleeing the fluid through the top coil of the spring, you can bleed the car yourself

You do know the pistons need to be "spun" in not just pushed in like the front right?

If they are really seized just get 2 remaned ones, they should be like $50
