2008 Civic Si XM Radio ID
I was not given a manual with the recent purchase of my '08 Civic Si. Can anyone tell me how to find the XM radio ID #? The only thing I've been told, and read, is to turn to XM station #0. I can't get to channel 0! When I'm at XM Channel 1, and then tune down, the radio says, 'XM Updating' and then follows with 'No Signal'. Any ideas?

XM is a paid subscription service. Some new vehicles come with a 30-90 day free trial period and you have to call the service provider to activate it. Did you buy new or used?

Re: 2008 Civic Si XM Radio ID
it come sstandard for one month or 3 months on a new car i believe. since yours is a year old you might have to pay for it, but if you are already paying for it then call you nearest honda dealer and they can tell you. i think this is what they are going to tell you. i believe you have to let the car sit outside turned on XM channel 0 for about 15 minutes while it updates then you have to get the number and go here https://xmro-secure.xmradio.com/listenercare/login2.xm and enter your id. if its valid then it should work and you should be good to go. like i said call your honda dealer and they can tell you more but i believe those are the steps you need to do.
