2) Radiator hose upper and lower
3) Water pump
4) heater hoses
5) head
6) cracked block
7) overflow
8) Radiator cap
9) heater

Re: Coolant leak
I did and it wouldn't leak but there were bubbles in the system and it overflowed thru the reservoir. I over pressurized and the lower radiator hose started leaking at the thermostat. I cleaned up the hose and thermostat housing and readjusted clamp. Stopped leaking. Now the bubbles seem to be gone and no overheat or overflow.

Re: Coolant leak
When topping off coolant, I have the car nice and hot with the heater off and there are no bubbles in coolant.
If I turn on heater to get coolant in there too, there are bubbles and they don't stop. They just continue coming no matter how long I top off coolant. There are no leaks. Would you think this is a partially clogged heater core? There is heat coming out of the vents.
I want to flush heater core with some CLR, just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue.
