My 05 LX clunker that I a trying to get back road worthy, only came with a key. just want to make sure my car has that option before I purchase a remote fob for an 05, is there an easy way to tell.

Pull the center console cover and look underneath the headunit. The receiver mounts there. But, seeing as it is an LX, I doubt it has that option.

Thanks toy, I just pulled off the console cover for a deep cleaning, where exactly is the head unit and what does it look like.

Hey toy, thanks for this link. I pulled a keyless module from an EX and plan to try to set it up....problem is I did not cut out the green plug connector, so will have to make a return trip. will post how it works out.
