I read the NWP4life review on the Function and Form coilovers, and I was wondering do they really match up to the Tein SS, Buddy club N1, Zeal Function or other high end coilovers like these?

Does anyone have experience with the Function and Form's (Type I's or Type II's) and other high end setups? If so, how do they compare?

Others have tried to tell me that the Function and Form is simply a budget coilover setup, and that they are very similar to the K-sport coilovers. Is this true? IMO they seem to be nicer than the K-sports, and I think the price is what causes people to think otherwise.

And like I asked before any idea when the Type II's might be available for the DC5?

i stated earlier that i have had Buddy clubs and functions on my S.... and others on my civic

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by S@nt0s &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">the type 2's are NOT renamed coilovers like some have may have heard.
i have my share of different set ups i have been thru over the years.. on my current S2K i have had Buddy Club Racing Spec coil overs and now type 2 F2's.

between the 2 the over all balance and feel of the car has made me happier then ever before...

my on civic i have done even more...
Tein HA's wth extended top hats
Takico blues on skunk coilovers
koni yellows on skunk coilovers
F2 type 2's...
i was made happy with the type 2's over all my prior set ups....
and again you CAN NOT beat the fact that these are REBUILDABLE and come with the 1 year warrenty..

people need to remember to get alignments done when they change their suspension to get the most out of car and play with settings.. im sure 90% just throw it on set it to desired height and drive away without ever getting a alignment done....

for type 2's</TD></TR></TABLE>

Much love to my sponsor Function/Form Rob and preston are great people and go above and beyond to help u with any needs.

I have tracked, daily driven, canyon run on the suspension and numerous people have driven my car and can vouch for the ride and performance

I didn't ignore your post, I did actually read it. Thank you for the info. I am just looking for more comparisons just like yours on the function/form's compared to other setups out there.

And wondering when the Type II's will be available for the DC5?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by s0fa_kingfresh!! &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">now im torn b/w a koni/gc setup or a type II full coilover.. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Maybe its just me but I wouldn't even compare the two. One is a one piece 18 way adjustable coilover and the other is a "2-piece" coilover setup with probably not only less height adjustability but less dampener adjustability. Not to mention the rebound and compression controls you would have with the Type II's.

You also have to consider that GC's spring rates may not be as well matched to the Koni dampner as those of Function/ Form's which you also have the option of going with custom soring rates if you choose.
