2005 Honda accord - ignition key won't turn
Hi
Any help would be great. Our ignition key.stopped turning. It is not the steering wheel lock. It just will not turn. Is there a chip in these (we have manual locks)?
Is removing the cylinder an easy option? I heard a locksmith could replace the tumblers.
Thanks for your help

Re: 2005 Honda accord - ignition key won't turn
try releasing the stress on the steering lock by unweighting the wheel in a direction away from the locked position... it could be either way but usually it's clockwise.
I know you said it's not the steering lock, but that would be the first thing to do. the nest thing to do is to try a new key from the dealer... replacing the ignition is always an option, but your door locks will not match. do the keys work properly in the door locks?
