how did it get stuck.. is your battery dead?

have someone start the car while you hit the starter.

after that, get a new one or new contacts for inside it.

So I take out the starter get it tested it passes just fine terminals are good
battery was good

On the flywheel....theres this bulge/wedge of metal on the flywheel its on top of the Torque converter Im assuming this is what stopped the car from cranking over. Went to Autozone they gave me a new starter just in case. Is the wedge on the flywheel going to cause the same problem for me?

Well I just replaced my starter today on my Auto 96 Accord. There shouldn't be any buldges of metal on the flywheel gears. Everything on the flywheel gears should be clear. If you are talking about a weld, I had that too near the torque converter. So that is normal. I'll try to post a picture of the inside of the starter hole.

I was about to freak out because of that little piece of weld.

Starter is brand new
flex plate straight.....
teeth on flywheel are not missing nor worn down.

Well I put in the starter a yesterday now my car wont crank at all. Im going to try replacing the jumper wire from starter ground and starter power wires to the battery. I know the starter is fine I tested it when it was new just to be sure because I dont like pulling out starters on Hondas.

yeah you might have a bad ground somewhere.. from either the battery to the chassi somewhere or to the starter. I know i had a problem with the positive on my car, it corroded almost the whole cable.

checked out the terminal earlier the copper wiring was corroded where it meets the terminals where it just became brittle and wiring were breaking off. I'm just going to replace the power and ground wires to the starter to battery. Looking at the copper wiring it looks like it got corroded all the way within the wiring itself where it is covered with electrical tape. Probably why. I'll check out the voltage when I get home from work with my multimeter.
