Re; overheating!! (with all new parts!!) EXPERT HELP!READ THIS!
Okay i recently posted about my honda accord 1991 LX overheating.
I have replaced (over the last few monthes) RADIATOR, WATER PUMP THERMOSTAT).
My car drove fine until recently my cooling fan stopped working, and it seemed like my thermo. was stuck. the car overheats slowly till it gets almost to 4/5ths of the way.
I talked to some guy, who told me m newer thermostat was most likely defective, so i replaced it. The car still overheats till the point of not being able to burp the cooling system.
I then heard it could be my sensors, I replaced the two sensor that are near the cyclinder head (which turned out to be the wrong ones). They were the sending unit, and the cooling temp sensor.
The one i guess i really needed was the Engine cooling temp sensor located on the thermostat housing. I just got done replacing that and the relay clicked a few times when i turned the key, but the car still over heats, the water cirulates, I managed to burp the system before it overheated fully.
But the fan still does not work?
I jumpered the ECT (Engine coolant temp switch) connector, and the fan jumps right on? So the relay or fuses have to be good? The problem seems to be in this switch that i just baught and replaced>?
Could the new one be faulty aslo? What else could be my problem? Wiring short? The fan works so i wouldnt think so?
Help me guys please?

Re: Re; overheating!! (with all new parts!!) EXPERT HELP!READ THIS!
when it overheats is your lower radiator hose cold or hot? if you have eliminated all the cooling sensors, and Im assuming your fan sensor gets a signal from the ecu when it needs to turn on (not sure but should be abound 170-180 degrees).
I dont want to be the bearer of bad news but if everything else checks out it might be a waterpump.
I hope thats not your problem but from what your describing its the only thing left to replace
Hope this helps,
Tony

well tony i guess that could be a problem idk why it would be bad news, theyre really cheap, and easy to put in...
THe thing is my water pump broke about 4 monthes ago, and i replaced it, and the timing belt. I dont really see how the pump could fail.
MY issue is my fan wont turn on. I replaced thermostat, and all the sensors. Idk what else there is to do ... I guess the pump could be out? doubt it cus water does circulate when the car is on.

Check the wires around the ECT real good for breaks/missing insulation. Check the connector for loose pins.
