hit a bump and now its squeaking coming from the front..
after driving over a bump the left front suspension started squeaking. its very loud and it sounds like rubber and rubber rubbing or it sounds like metal rubbing also. could it be the shock? spring? this is a 97 accord lx non abs. the squeak doesnt just come on when going over a bump or a dip, it happens anytime the wheel moves and when i turn. its very loud. what could it be?

lol my 90 accord ex has the same problems with the right fromt ****. anyway i pulled the car up and i found out that half of my tire is fucked half its ok. so i checked the lower joint bolt and that is fucked. i am going to fix that and see if the noise goes away. if it doesn't then is the shock. i have changed uper control arm and the noise still persist. damn i hate that squicking noise **** i hate it so much.(a guy had the same problem with a 96 mercedes and he just put oil all over the shock and the noise went away---i am going to do that too as soon as i get done with the enigne swaping) let u guys know what happens
if u find out what is wrong with the car before me please sent me a mesage too

I have the same issues too. It started happening after I lowered the car on Neuspeed sport springs on stock shocks. From reading the previous posts, one can assume that is most likely the shocks.
