Help with fast blinking turn signal.
85 Accord:
Left signal blinks regular speed but the right side blinks super fast. At first I thought a bulb was out but they all work. Then I noticed on the slow blinking side the 2 indicator lights on the front alternate blinking on and off.
However on the fast side the both blink at the same time - is this related to the problem somehow?
It was like this ever since I first bought it.
Thanks

that sounds like you have a short in the wiring somewhere, does your car have side markes, a friend of mine managed to do that to his car, and he did it when splicing the wires to install the sidemarker, other than that, check to see if the wiring for the signal lights has been exposed or perhaps tampered with prior to you owning the car.

Re: Help with fast blinking turn signal. (ShylockAlpha)
Arky nailed it.
i went thru bulbs on my wifes 91 accord to no avail. Then, futz'ed around with the wire on the new bulb that wasn't burnt and found the connection in the bulb housing was buggered. Taped it up for now to relieve the 'pull' on it----will cut it open later and re-solder it properly..
