Default F22 timing issue

replaceing my timing belts and have a few issues that I can't answer myself.
1- the new timing belt i have is slightly longer then the old( a few mm) any problem in using it?
2- I was told that the oil pump and balancer had to be properly aligned too ?. (I set Cyl 1 @ TDC on intake stroke, the cam and crank pulleys are aligned with the marks that is fine and straight forward)
I found marks on the pulleys ( balancer pulley mark is horizontal facing the left side of engine and the oil pump pulley has a punch mark facing the right side slightly above horizontal) where are thier mating marks on the pump housing? I marked these my self and they haven't moved so was I givn some **** info. or am I on the right course

for the timing belt, are the part numbers the same? find the part numbers on the belt and compare.

for setting the balance shaft gears, check the Accord FAQ for a thread on timing belt and water pump replacement.

X2

I would probably take both the belts (old and new) back to the parts store to compare with another new one. Also it should be on the #1 TDC compression stoke not intake.
