Default 1997 Accord SRS light

Hi,
as i was driving today, my SRS light turned on and stayed on. What does this mean? I know it has something to do with the airbags. I was in an accident about two months ago, in which the airbags did NOT deploy, and had to have the hood and bumper replaced. Could this be the cause of the problem?

Anyway, my BIG concern is, if the light is on, am I at any risk of the airbags blowing up in my face while I'm driving? I won't be able to get the car into the shop for a while.

the best to do is pull the codes from the car.. and see what kinda of code it is... If it's a seat belt buckle then take it to the dealership to get it fix for free

Quick question.

Do you horn, and cruise still work? If not it's the SRS cable reel. I had a similar accident a few years back in my 94. SRS light would occasionally twitch while turning, then all of a sudden it just stayed on after hitting a pothole while rounding a corner. If it's the cable reel, I think it's about a ~$300 part.
