H22A starter/solenoid issue
car is 97 coupe lx with H22A... if the car is cold or has been sitting awhile it starts fine... but when you drive it around long enough to get up to operating temp the car will not start... it only makes a single "click"
my first thought was bad solenoid on the starter so i go to autozone and get a new lifetime warranty starter... it sounds really good the first few times and starts up even after i drive around 30min to get it nice and warmed up...
the second time i drive around its back to the same old thing its now been over an hour and still "click"... anyone else ever have this issue? really would like to get this fixed today... also the temp runs under the halfway mark on the gauge at all times and the temp here has been 100 degrees or more(oklahoma).
Thx in advance for any help

Doesn't sound good?
Next would be the switch, elcet part, to see what the output is there. I think, been a while, the main relay should be tested as well....I'll have to look that up to confirm.

Re: H22A starter/solenoid issue
l have a issue just like this almost. l got a starter and was tearing the flywheel teeth up on edges. ok then l got it tested it kept jumping in and out and not staying out, replaced it and it was a different style and make. it had a shaft after teeth on starter unlike the other. put that one in and it was starting and doing great. drive around get it warm and later crank up while still warm and it stutters before cranking. havent replaced flywheel yet its not horrible but that could be part of issue. l also need to know what the issue is.......
