What size is the drain back on moroso pans
I need a new oil pan. Planning on just getting a moroso, but I need to know what size the fitting is on the pan itself. I have a -10 an fitting on the end of my drain line to my stock oil pan. I'm interested in the stock like pan. part # 20911, 4 qt. capacity. Thanks for any help.

it's a female thread... I believe it's -10 but it might be standard threads. I have one of those brass angle male/male joints to connect the -10 drain to the moroso pan.

What I'm confused about is that the moroso pan has a capacity of 4 qts. and the stock gsr pan is 5 qts. Won't there be an oil starvation and if not, why???

Nah, I use 5 qts in my gsr pan now. I seen the moroso pan has a capacity of 4qts not including the filter. part number 20911.

I have a turbo and I used a Fram oil filter. 5 qts puts it at just above (like a hair) the top hole on the dip stick

Re: What size is the drain back on moroso pans
oh ok. thanks. I've been waiting for 2 days for replies back from Moroso. Good to know. From what I found is that the 4 qt. is the closest to stock size. Which is what I need. I just need to know why there is 1 qt. less and how I won't starve my motor by using less oil. Can someone help me out with that. Thanks. I need an oil pan asap.
