Default What pistons are the best and why are they the best? No bandwagoning please!

I don't want to just get on any bandwagon just because they're using them or selling them. What makes one piston better than the other? I don't want to compare appearances either because that's not a good indicator of what's better. So I'm posting some of the most popular piston's features to compare. This is to help all of us make an educated choice. Feel free to add features of your favorite pistons.

Pistons

CP features:

*High strength aluminum forgings
*Super lightweight designs
*Fully CNC machined and balanced +/- 1 gram
*Wrist pins included
*Accumulator groove included
*Double pin oilers, force fed from oil ring
*Pick lock grooves for easy removal

Arias features:

*Hi-tensile forged, not cast, billet material.
*CNC machined working surfaces.
*Optimized crowns for efficient combustion
*Diamond-turned ellipsoidal skirt profile.
*Lightweight, high strength construction

*Forged pistons.
*Wrist pins: high carbon, case-hardened.
*Ring set: chrome or moly faced top, cast 2nd, 3-piece oil.
*Locks: carbon steel wire or spiral.

JE pistons:

*Forged from premium 2618 aluminum alloy
*Dome and dishes feature smooth flowing radii for excellent flame travel
*CNC machined side relief with lower support band provides for optimal strength
*CNC diamond turned skirts with reduced cylinder contact profiles provide less cylinder friction for increased horspower
*Forced pin oilers for increased wrist pin lubrication
*Pin fittings, pin oilers, and wire locks included
*Rings sold seperately

SRP (JE off the shelf):

*Dome requires no deburring or preparation
*Forged from 4032 low expansion high silicon aluminum alloy heat treated to SRP specifications
*Dome and dishes feature smooth flowing radii for excellent flame travel
*.827 x .2250 - 150 straight wall wrist pin included
*Pin fitting and spiro locks included
*CNC machined ring grooves accept 1.0, 1.2, 2.8mm rings (Rings sold separately)

One of the most important factors is ring land flatness. You can lose ring seal between the ring and land just as quick as between the ring and the cylinder wall. There are only two high dollar laser measurement tools located in the USA. One is on the east coast and the other is in Irvine, CA. This machine actually fits in the ring groove and takes millions of measurements INSIDE the groove.

Earl when doing a build what do you to prep the CP pistons? Do you have to deburr them and round out the sharp edges such as the valve reliefs?
