Default quick manifold question...

i'm looking into turbo...would the hf and std and so on manifolds using them you have to port them...i'm just confused about the adapter plates...are they bolted on the mani or do you have to weld them on the mani? also which mani is better the hf or std?? keeping a/c??

I've heard the STD is slightly better, but it's probably a negligable difference. And when you get an adapter plate for it, it'll bolt to the HF's outlet and allow you to bolt whatever turbo you bought the adapter for. I've got a RHB5 on a HF from WeirRacing, and it's made well enough that porting wasn't necessary.
