Re: action clutch break in (Dutchie)
break in procedure should be same for most clutches. Break in should consist of various driving stop start usually below 4500 rpm shifts. Due this for 400-500 miles and you are set.

Re: action clutch break in (R0902)
I just got my Action Stage 2KS in today...what a leg workout...I'll have to get use to it. I'll be breaking it in for 500 miles before any hard driving.

It's a pretty heavy pedal pressure...when I first drove the car again...lets just say that I thought I had no chance of getting use to the pressure. It's nothing to me now...Don't get scared guys.

Re: action clutch break in (blufke)
hardest thing ever!!! no, j/k. i did mine when i did my swap so i didnt have to drop the tranny. so it was pretty easy for me.
should I even attempt to do it or get it done for around 360?

Re: action clutch break in (integra-modder)
Its actually pritty easy as long as you have some mechanical knowlidge, skill and common sense you should be able to do it.
I'd say go ahead and do it yourself and save the $360 for some other mods...
As fahr as pedal pressure goes the 2md feels just a tad bitt stiffer than a stock clutch (at least it did in my gsr) but overall I think that the clutch is great...
Break in Period: Hahaha this is actually a pritty funny subject but all I'm gona say is this, as soon as I put the clutch in the car I took it around the block to see how the clutch felt and drove the car on to a trailer. The next day I introduced it to its break in period at the track starting off with a 2nd gear burn out on 24.5x8" slicks and than a 5500rpm dump. The second time around I did a longer 2nd gear burn out and a 7000rpm drop and so forth...
Right now the clutch still feels as good as the first time I drove around the block...
Now I'm not trying to encourage anybody else to do the same thing I did but I just thought I would share the experiance and just prove that these clutches will hold anything from the git go...
Thanks for the bandwith...

I mean Im not nearly as suicidal to try to burn 350 bucks up cuz i cant afford to, but maybe after a few hundred miles ill give it some frills...
good to know they can hold out though...now i just need to find that flywheel thread and get a good flywheel (if I even need one that is).
