500hp and little lag B18C
i want to get a turbo for my B18C that will get 500whp max. The engine will be sleeved, and cr down to 9.1 and fuel etc. etc. but i want the quickest spool to get there. I was thinking of the
GARRETT T3/60-1TRIM W/ .82 A/R (BB) w/ the Stage 5 wheel
GARRETT T3/TO4E 60 TRIM W/ .82 A/R (BB) w/ the Stage 5 wheel
should i stick with the .82 or go with the .63 and should i get the stage 5 wheel?
but with the .82 A/R i should be able to make 500whp alot easier than the .62

The 60 trim is much more efficient than the 60-1 wheel. You can support around 500whp with the t3/t40e 60 trim .82a/r stage 3 blade. You can make the compressor efficient well before 12psi with the 60 trim, whereas the 60-1 requires you to boost around 12-14psi on a gsr block to make it become efficient and produce good horsepower numbers. The 60 trim is efficient till 24-25psi, whereas the 60-1 is efficient till around 28psi or so.

if u got the loot, the ball bearing garrett GT30 is gonna be the most powerful quickest spooling turbo on the market. other then that, I would choose a 60trim T04e w/ stage 3 .63 exhaust side. its tuff to have the best of both worlds, almost impossible.
