Default Neptune TPS Problem need help

I have the Neptune RTP and I have a check engine light for TPS. I have the blox adjustable TPS. When I start the car on the gauge shows TPS is -13% and TPS voltage .02-.04. Do I need to loosten the TPS and set it at a different voltage or do I need to replace the TPS all together? Any Help is appreciated.

Yes, stock is .45v, but you can get away with less. .04 is ridiculously low.

yea, just put the voltage in that area and you will be fine. Once you get it close, you can "fix" the voltage in preferences so it reads 0

you can also calibrate the tps in Neptune, under preferences main tab.

I tried turning the actual tps and could get it to go to .45 for what ever reason so I went to Preference and it shows TPS closed voltage .5 and TPS Open Voltage .45 but on my dattalogger it shows the low reading of .04. It does say in Preferences "Note after changing voltages please check allTPS parameters in software". I never even changed the voltage on the screen but yet on my datalogger its still reading low voltage. Do I need check al TPS parameters in software and if so how do I do it?

Also when I clear the code for the TPS CEL it goes to .45 volts but after about a minute or so of the car running the check engine light comes on and back down the voltage to the TPS goes. Any Help is appreciated and once again this is all new to me just trying to learn.

You need to get the closed voltage of the actual TPS sensor higher to avoid the code.

Sounds like the TPS isnt wired to the ecu correctly. the reference voltage and the output are swapped. I have run into this many times doing Megasquirt installs.

Check that your wiring is correct.

I got it set at .28 but when I went to start my car my battery was shot. Got a new battery yesterday, upgraded all the grounds to 4 gauge(old 1's were loose and werent properly grounded) then fired the car up and let it run for a cpl minutes and no CEL came on, so hopefully im good to go.

Should be, as long as it doesn't drift that low again.
