i know this is an old post, but id rather bring this back than start a new one

i just want to clear some things up before i buy my slicks from m&h. im going to be putting slicks on my stock gsr 5 bar rims (15x6) because i dont go to the track enough to purchase a set of drag only rims. im trying to clarify the proper size tire to get for my stock rim
i do not have extended lugs
nor do i want to add a spacer

car is sitting on skunk2 pro c and im making 382whp

That would be a good size. You could even go up to a 8" wide slick and be fine.

Bring it back from the dead. I was also curious about the size of the slicks on oem rims. Since a few of you guys run 8.5 instead of 7.5 wide, does it rub? How much pressure did you guys run since it doesn't have as much meat compare to a 23x7.5 (8.5)x13. Thinking about purchasing a set of mh 23x7.5x15 for my oem rims. If 8.5 doesn't rub and holds good for the width of the rims(15x6).. I would rather get that. Any input would be appreciated.
