if you have the manual, look for programming sequence. part3 option 1. If you don't have it. follow this. turn key on then off, within 10 sec. press and hold the button on the antenna. you'll hear one beep, then two beep, then 3 beep. release, press, release, and press and hold button. you'll hear one beep. press unlock from remote, wait for two beep to confirm. Now turn key on and off. your done.

An unprogrammed tach should still at least crank the engine. Plus it's set at virtual tach as default and I've never had a problem with that. 7 blinks is manual transmission mode so you have to change it to auto for it to work.
5 flashes Brake wire is active
6 flashes Hoodpin wire is active
7 flashes Manual transmission mode is enabled and not
initialized.
8 flashes Neutral safety wire has no ground or the neutral safety
switch is Off.

OIC, it's not even cranking.
Confirm valet/program button is plugged in properly and to the correct port, [blue].
Are you sure you are going into program mode properly...
Open Door, door trigger must be wired.
Turn ign. on then off.
Press and hold valet/program button, after 3 sec. the siren will chirp once, [menu 1] keep holding valet/program button untill siren chirps a 3rd time, [menu 3] then release, press the valet/program button again and hold it, siren will chirp one more time, [feature 1 auto/manual] do not release valet/program button, use lock/unlock button on remote to change setting to auto, [if your car is an automatic]. 94
