alarm install
Ok guys I been reading over the sticky that suspended hatch made regarding stealth installs. I have decided to attempt this myself.I dont think it should be that hard with the right guidance from you guys. I have a viper 791xv, I do not plan on using the remote start feature. I purchased all the recommended accessories for the install and since the search function on HT now SUX, I am going to try and get the necessary help from you guys. I started de pinning my setup today and here is what I de-pinned as per the sticky.
On the primary harness I de-pinned the following
red/white - (-) 200 mA Channel 2 Validity Output
violet - (+) door trigger input,zone 3
white/blue - (-) remote start activation input
On the auxiliary harness I de-pinned the following
light blue - (-) second unlock output
white/black - (-) channel 5 output
violet/black - (-) channel 4 output
green/white - (-) factory alarm rearm
light green/black - (-) factory alarm disarm
this is what they look like now
Now is there anything I missed or should have not taken out? I plan on using the factory lock/unlock system with the viper remote, so Im not sure if I pulled to many from the auxiliary harness. Here is a pic of the color chart for that.
In have another question, in the sticky it says to de-pin the horn honk, the only harness I have with a horn wire is this one, should I pull the brown wire?
I also cant figure out WTF this is for, there is nothing in the manual that has a 4 wire harness diagram

Don't use the sticky. That **** should probably be un-stickied. I don't have any control of it to update/make corrections etc. Check my site: http://causeforalarm.thecarthing.com
Kind of sad but it seems that all the work I did here giving advice and writing DIY's serve for nothing else except to make wrx-killer money.
