rocker arm shaft bolts torque specs? typo in the manual?
i was tightening the rocker shaft sealing bolts and the camgear side says 47lb/ft and the distributor side sayd 4.7lb/ft is that correct?
i thought it was a typo in my service manual because when i was tightening them it felt like i was stripping the threads even though i set the wrench to 45 to be safe.
they both say 64n/m (6.5kgf/m but one says 47lb/ft and other 4.7lb/ft)
i checked 2 different year PDF service manuals and they all show same thing...

#1 and 2 on the diaram (bolt and washer)
2 on the cam side and 1 on the distributor side
the 2 bolts that close the tocker arm shaft holes...
the torque specs are found on page 6-54 in service manual for the cam gear side

im fairly certain that all 3 of those are the same torque. They are most certainly above 20lb-ft. When removing them, they all require a breaker bar or impact. The service manual that I have calls for 43 lb-ft per rocker shaft sealing bolt.
