Re: pros and cons of a K20a vs K24 (turbo) too (SiR_Injected)
That's a very general question
How about we start the question with what would you like to accomplish!?!?! Not everyone has the same goals. What can you afford? Have you even done research to merit a response? Have you talked to k series owners to get there own personal experience in your area...so you don't get hear say information?
I have had 4 different k24 setups. Each one with there own pro and con ( the pros being very heavy ). Tyler hara and scott iverson have great setups. I would start by looking and researching of they have accomplished, which I believe is substantial information for you to come to your own conclusion.
Hope this helps, and have fun on your project

well me and my buddie both have 2001 civic si's that need transplants. but i have to get rid of my 01 civic because i already own a 90 civic hatch that ive been working on , so atleast one of us can finish the k20 swap...
i noticed k24 and k20 i remember hearing before with the CRV b20's that they had thin cyl walls. so i figured the k24 CRV would have the same thing .. i dont know if thats the same with the k24 ..
i got on here so im asking for him and to better fouth my knowlege.. i think now hes settle on a k20a 220 hp from japan he plans to do what it need's to turbo it... hears a video i found on youtube that seemed to give him a push start that i love......

I think you need to do more research before you move any further. K-series and B-series are completely different, Honda engineers didn't just say, "Oh, this is a CRV motor, let's give it thin cylinder walls." Also keep in mind that K-series stuff is pretty darn expensive.
