B18B1 hard start when cold but starts fine when warm?
I have a 90 civic std with a b18b1 out of an integra. car has a strong fuel pump, i just put new plugs in it, cleaned the distrubiter, cleaned the air intake and checked the motor over. It will take about 30 seconds of cranking over with it starting and sputtering and quiting and so on till it ill idle at 500 rpm. Then after it does that for a little bit I have to slowly make it go up to1000 rpm.when I am there i am home free and it will idle fine at 500. but its hard to get it there when its cold. any sugestions? it is running obd0

Does the throttle body have a FITV on it? OBD0 engines have a dashpot/air boost thing on the throttle body to help cold start & idle, so without it your ecu can't help much. The obd1 FITV works well enough for both, and on obd2 the ecu knows enough to use the IACV to increase cold idle.
Try holding the throttle open a little when starting cold to see if it just needs more air when cold. If it starts & idles fine, get an obd1 throttle body with working FITV.
