Ok, I just started the import scene. I looked around for a car and found a 1990 civic hatchback for next to nothing locally. then i was looking for a swap. I looked at all kinds of swaps and decided with my budget I would go with a g23 (h22/f23 if that makes it easier on people), so dont blame me or flame me for bandwagon B.S. cause thats not the case at all. The one thing I would like to know is since im gonna use the h22a so i can achieve vtec with the f23 block, what year requirements do i need for each? i found a dirt cheap 90-93 head complete already and if that works that would make my day, but please let me know the years to use for the block and head as well as any other knowledge towards this frankenstein build.

You may want to look in to the swap completly. Its more indepth then just slapping parts to gether and expecting it to work

I have actually read alot about this swap. i know it isnt slapping parts together. gonna take a shitload of work. luckily i have so many hookups including my dad being a auto mechanic so i have his lifts and garage to work on this. ALso have a hookup on tranny and drivetrain work so that is already set. I just want to know the year requirements for parts please.
