Type R Rebuild Update
**UPDATES BELOW**
5/20/07
The car is finally up and running. TJ came over this weekend again and gave me a hand on getting the car road worthy. It felt great to drive an ITR again! I still don't have the car registered or anything so I couldn't drive it much. We splashed a little gas in it to get the car running and then headed down the gas station. Still have a few little things to do to the car before Expo but it is now running.
The R rebuild is finally starting to get going. After spening last weekend at CMP I have been working MUCH more to get the R ready for Expo (watching at the track is no fun ). I really need to thank TJ for all of his help this weekend.
Here is how I bought the car:

Here is the first rebuid update:

Here are the pics of how the car currently sits:
Cage is in the car
Omni Powers
Here is what my tower harnesses looked like before
Here is what they look like now after re-soldering new connectors on
The B18C5 found its way under the hood
Starting to look like a car
Headlights work! I guess some of that soldering worked!
Driving this has made me less motivated...
Now I just need to finish up all of the little odds and ends. I also need to figure out why I am not getting any power to the ignition. While investigating I did find the car was stolen with a Clifford 300 alarm. I hope to have the car running next weekend
UPDATE **5/06/07**
A very big thanks to everyone who came over this weekend and helped out with the R. It is VERY close now. I still need a fuel pump but the motor is turning over using the key now!!! We got the suspension completely put back on after the asshat theives mushroomed every bolt on the front suspension. After a long time of filing, we got them in order. We got the OmniPower's on all four corners as well. We put the header on, clutch line, radiator, brakes assembled, wheels on, etc (off the jack stands!). I'm now waiting on 3 shipments that are all coming in Monday and Tuesday and then the car should be up and running.
SEE EVERYONE AT EXPO!!!
The pics of how it sits now after a quick rinse with the hose:
**UPDATE**

And it starts...
See, it's a real Type R

We left a CW patch for me to put numbers on the side

if you don't mind me asking, how much is the rebuild costing you?
I was debating on weather to one, since I have the option of getting an itr from dealer/insurance auctions. are you having fun?
and hows the tl-s? my sister wants one
