Default Need help diagnosing this problem ...

I just put the head back on the ITR's engine and I think something is wrong .. The compression is at 250 on each cylinder across the board .. When I go to use my timing light I don't see the timing marks on the pulley .. Also, I noticed that if I move the pickup from the #1 spark plug cable to the #3 cable the light strobe frequency changes dramatically.. the #1 strobe is slow compared to a very fast strobe if I use the #3 cable .. I am not trying to use the #3 to set timing, I just thought that the strobe frquency should be similar in all cables.. I also noticed that when the car hits VTEC, it feels like its misfiring .. Lastly, the plugs are coming out very white ... I am not driving the car until I can figure out what is wrong .. Thanks for the info ...

you need to check and make sure that is what you have, not think it is.

my son had his swap in and car ran like ****. days later after constant asking if he was sure the wires were hooked up right, it was found that two of the wires were crossed.

never hurts to doublecheck stuff closely when you have a problem.
