Default ITBs on a c5????

anyone running itbs on their r? What all is needed to run them on a daily driver? and is it even worth it?

for the money on a stock R Not worth it.
for certain modifications maybe worth it.
For the most part the stock IM does the job rather well.

Search for a post called "Mods you regret" or something like that and you'll see a couple of peeps listing ITB's because of the raw gas smell amoung other reasons why they didn't like them.

Personally, if your car is even close to being a daily driver I would skip it. They belong on built track cars. Just my $0.02

Benefits:

-better fuel delivery...more efficient due to injector placement
-more air into each cylinder and the air gets to each cylinder mroe equally
-more air + more fuel = more power

Cons:

-can be difficult to tune properly
-expensive
-sucks in hot air unless u fab something through the hood or somehting
