Default Front end smashed

Loan a friend my car for the day (2 days ago), he got into an accident. Front end smashed. Right side headlights smashed, right fender dented, bumper smashed, radiator support panel also. One of the worse days of my life. No serious structural damage, just the panels. no engine damage also, radiator is probably gone tho. Took a deep breath, and got about trying to bring the R back to life. My car is original JDM ITR so panels are super RARE in australia. I can get the fenders but would like some advice on the support panels and such. Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I'm curious though. Why did you let your friend borrow your R? Was it asking for it? I mean, did he drive it like a crazy bandit and smash it up? Or, was it a freak accident?

I loan him the R since he is on vacation visiting me in melbourne. Would post up the pics of the "death" of my R tommorrow. He somehow lost control of it and hit a stationery JAguar. Hardly a tic on the other car, my car though looked bad. Euros are so hardy.

I was wondering if the radiator support panel is the same for all Rs. Weighing my options here, i can get the headlights, the fenders, and most of the other stuff. I was thinking of a cwest n1 bumper in place of the orignal ITR front bumper. And is the Koyo Dual core any good? I heard that is it is one of the more worthwhile radiators. Thanks

Screw that!

Your "friend" should be taking care of EVERYTHING for you in this type of situation. Sourcing out the parts, arranging for the best body shop in town to fix your car and paying for every damn cent.

Give him a really good kick in the **** too.

Ah well, he is paying for it, i dont really trust anyone with the car cept for myself. It is, well, sort of like a rebuilt of the front end and some other mods that i was trying to plan ahead for a while before i got down to it. But since this unfortunate turn of events, everything has been moved forward. **** happens.
