Default Broken driver side engine mount cause steering vibration?

I have just been told that my driver side engine mount is broken. For the last couple of years I have been getting a slight steering wheel vibration. Barley noticeable driving slow but when going at higher speeds its alot noticeable and it gets worse the more I get on the gas. I've been told its cause my wheels are out of balance but I have had them done 2 times at different places and no improvement. I have had them rotated, replaced an axle cause it needed it, and got the suspension inspected for anything bent cause I hit a pot hole once and no improvement and nothing bent. Could the broken engine mount cause my vibration. This is the only thing I can think of.

What makes it weird is sometimes it will do it and sometimes it wont. It will do it going 70 then all of the sudden it will stop during normal driving. If I am getting on the gas it vibrates the whole time. That's what makes me think its not tires. This problem is gotten so annoying Im seriously thinking about selling my car cause of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I heard there was a notice or something once about checking the tq on the steering rack bolts (holding it onto the body).
There's just like to or so of them.

Sounds promising. I will have to look into it.
