Re: ~ THE GRAVEYARD ~
Stolen: ~April 2008 in Pasadena, CA
Year: 2000
Color: Phoenix Yellow
Badge: 00-1335 (actually still have it with me, took it out of car randomly one day and never put back in)
Mileage: 62k?
Mods: Spoon fixed dampers+spoon progressive springs. Apexi GT Spec catback to a USDM DC 4-1 header. OEM USDM wheels wrapped in Toyo R1R's. J's Racing Intake. Carbing front and rear tower bars. That's all I remember.
Deterants: viper alarm and autolock
Vehicle was stolen out of my former work's parking lot on a saturday night. Had the car towed there after blowing my engine at the track so it wasn't able to be started. It had to be towed which is amazing since it had only been there for 1 night.
Insurance settlement was for $17.5k iirc, I was happy with that.

i had one carfax report left, so i car faxed it for the hell of it. this poor R was probably raped hella by one of the previous owners.... between july and october of 2002 it had over 25k miles put on it... and the last recorded info on the car was in early october of 2008 when it had an accident that caused a roll over. weird that it took them over a year to finally put this poor R in it's final resting place...
This R was driven!!! Driven to death (no pun intended)!!!
I owned her starting in '04.
It took a year, because I needed to heal from my injuries and lets just say that I wasn't too enthused to pick apart my beloved car!

Re: ~ THE GRAVEYARD ~
So what if I left everything in there? Got something badass to say about it? Like "OH dude, I would totally have salvaged to motor or what not"?
I said it took a YEAR to pick apart my own car. Not 1 month.
A dash splattered with blood and 1 cracked visor was of no use to me! But be my guess if you want to pick it up with my DNA all over it!
Don't get me wrong, but if you want to ask me a question, ask it properly!
IntegraTionR who thinks kids now a days, don't know any manners on how to ask a proper question w/o offending people. They just say what ever the f*ck they want!

Do you know me by any chance? Because I don't know or care who you are!

P.S. Feel free to post some gangster rebuttal. I will refrain from posting any further to avoid even more clutter. So take your free shot and clutter this otherwise useful thread further.

Re: ~ THE GRAVEYARD ~
I never want to clutter any thread, but I feel we are all getting sick this crap. Everyone on here has to incite a fight over NOTHING. IntegraTionR, you need to chill the f*ck out. You talk about manners, yet you freak out over one poorly thrown together line of text? The whole ITR thread deals with enough new member BS, and the last thing we need is some 2004 member acting like a 5 year old. If we all freaked out on every slightly smart-assed comment, we'd all be banned already. Welcome to the Internet. If you can't handle a comment like that, close the browser and don't come back. Feel free to PM me your "you don't know me" garbage. I will in return send you your "Congratulations! You've survived a car accident, and bled a little so you are now totally BA!" Award. Make sure to post it up on B20vtec. A place where they will truly appreciate it, and a place you truly belong.

Re: ~ THE GRAVEYARD ~
I had not been on in some time and noticed this thread.
-September 2009 Coppell, TX
-2000
-Black
-#1437
-Roughly 80K
-Stock
-Factory "alarm"
-The car was taken around 7pm with the owner (my dad) at home and awake. The car is always garaged but he was doing some cleaning so left it outside for a bit. He went to move it into the garage around 10pm and it was gone. The car was recovered 2 days later downtown.
Not an amateur job but I suppose these rarely are.
The payout was something like 13.5K after some arguing.
I did some digging of my own after the event and got a fewtips on possible suspects. The car was found about eight blocks from one of these peoples homes. Gave everything I knew to the police. They checked out the house and confirmed there were a couple shells at the dudes address and his only prior was street racing. I got the idea that nothing could be done unless the dude was basically caught red handed. I never heard anything else from the detective and would assume the case is all but abandoned.
