refrigerant was changed supposedly around 94ish according to one acura tech, so the 2 times i had to inquire about it, the techs on the phone jus told me to check on the shock tower where i found a metallic sticker with the refrigerant code on it. u can check there as well.

The A/C in the '94 GS-R definitely uses R-134a.

im pretty sure my 95 gsr came from the factory with r-12 refridgerant (accorrding to my cheapo chiltons manual) however i need to get it recharged so ill have to take it somewhere to drain the r-12, before it is refilled with r-134a, i dont think you are supposed to add r-134a to r-12. Someone must have a helms manual for a 95 gsr that can answer tthis question

I can answer this question. The 1994 and later Integras all came with R-134a refrigerant, and NOT with R-12. I don't know about the '93 or earlier ones.
Your '95 definitely came from the factory with R-134a. If you have a Chilton manual that says R-12, it's wrong. (The factory manual is better and more reliable, anyway.)

Re: (nsxtasy)
my 95 uses R134a, as for draining R12, I don't think its as simple and draining it and putting in R134a. You have to "convert" the system, isn't R12 like more expensive than GOLD by NOW?!!!?
