The handle comes off mine, so it fits no problem. Now, securing in in the trunk is another issue. If money is no object, find the jack that has a low starting point so you can fit it under the car without having to drive up on 2x4's like I have to.

Re: portable hydraulic jack? (tekstyle)
i was thinking about something like this
http://www.homier.com/detail.a...Click
Dimensions: 17 1/2æ x 8" x 5 3/4"
Lift: 5 1/2" - 12 1/2" ( it is just low enough to fit under my car. i cant try removing the wheels to get it 1/2" lower)

Re: (Last For One)
I have one in my trunk that I bought from autozone for $20 and it works great. I keep it in my trunk but above the spare tire cover because theres no room for it by the spare tire. I still keep it in the box because I don't want it to roll or hear it rattle around in the trunk. I still use the scissor jack to raise my car up a little so I can put the hydraulic one in place because I ride dumped.

i did this, try to mount the spare tire through the holes for the lugs, not the center. it might free one some space for yout to fix the jack.
