new pads/rotor.. Still no free wheel spin?!
I have a 91 integra gs, ok so I noticed that my driver side rear brakes were making some weird noises so I jacked the car up to see what the problem was. I noticed that the brake caliper was grabbing the rotor harder than the rest of the wheels and there was not really any free spin to that tire. I figured it was time to replace the pads and rotor since it was warped and the pads were old. So I bought a new rotor and pads and replaced them. Drove it around a bit and parked it. I threw fresh snow on it to see if it was still sticking a little bit and generating mor heat than nessasary and the snow instanlty evaporated and sizzled. So I jacked the car up and once again and tried to spin the wheel and it was hard to turn. So at this point Im thinking there is something wrong with the caliper? This is my daily driver and Im afraid that the caliper will lock up one day when im driving it to work and ill get into an acident or worse? Has anyone heard of this happening? And what do you guys think I can do to fix it? Any help would be awesome H-T

It may just wear out your pads and rotor on that wheel. try taking it apart and seeing if you can move the caliper piston.

Did you twist the caliper piston back into the caliper bore?
Did you lube up the caliper slide pins with high temp brake grease?
You need to to both of these when installing new pads and/or new rotors. And throwing snow on it, man you may have just warped your brand new rotors.
