Will a JDM catalytic converter fit my 99 dc4. will a JDM cat converter pass emissions(stock dc4 with basic intake and exhaust)? plans to do a JDM ITR header with JDM cat covnerter with S2 exhaust to bring inner diamete pipes to 2.36" all the way front to back.

The secondary O2 sensor bung is too small on the JDM converter. I had to weld a new bung. SInce you are using the JDM header, etc. it should fit.

I thought that it would. I have a chipped OBD2 P72, so they never did the sniff test on my car. I passed since I did not have and CELs stored.

The JDM converted doesn't have any excessive odor or what not. Sorry I can't provide a better answer.

bump.

well i know japan has a less strict policy in terms of emissions cause i know most JDM engines fail emissions. thinking maybe the cat converter is a factor.

Possibly. Japan typically runs 100 octane gasoline.
