intregra dies when accelerating
hey all ive searched but havent had any luck. my 90 integra is giving me problems. when i start the car it idles perfectly but as soon as i accelerate it it boggs out and dies. if i accelerate very slowly it will get the rmps up. if the rpm is passed 3k and i gun it, it wont bog out or die. but if its under 2k and i gun it, it bogs and dies. please help me guys i cant figure it out. i have a new fuel pump and fuel filter (6 months old)

might be a bad map sensor or tps sensor! check the timing belt and see if i dint skip a tooth. also recheck the fuel pump connection it also may be fuel related but you said the fuel pump was replaced 6 months ago but if it was doing this since the fuel pump change i would look into that.

I just bought my car and have the same exact problem. I still havent found out what it is. You should check your Idle air control valve and see if its bad. Mine has a vacuum leak and Im hoping thats what my problem is or timing just skipped a tooth.
