Hey guys,
so I just picked up an 88 Integra with 201k miles. It needed a dizzy so swapped that out got it running great! Problem I have now is the car dosen't go into 5th, stays neutral. Goes in 1-4 great and reverse. I was going to swap shift linkage to see it its faulty. The problem I have is what shift linkage works with the 86-89? Can't find anything online I've been searching for days. Any help will be great, not looking to race or build the car so just need oem replacement parts thanks!!
also it doesn't grind going to 5th just like it's in neutral.

can you shift into 5th w/o the engine running?

go to any acura oem parts site and you should see an online diagram of the shift linkage, I would look at the bushings 1st.

It doesn't click into 5th with car off like other gears. I was going to do bushings also. But finding 1st gen Integra parts is hard. I have a shifter on order and will order bushings tonight if I can find them. Thanks!
