honda mtf vs pennzoil synchromesh
im currently runnin pennzoil synchromesh in m car. i have been for around 15K miles. before i put the pennzoil in i had slight notchiness with my gears, after the pennzoil it was gone. im about ready to change the tranny fluid again, and im wondering if i should maybe go with the honda mtf. i put that in my brothers teg and it was like a nite and day difference compared to watever was in there before. the only thing im worried about is if i switch to the honda mtf my notchiness will come back. any thoughts on the synchromesh vs the honda mtf?

Correct me if I'm wrong but, GM Syncromesh has higher density then Honda MTF and yes, it will help with the grinds but in the long run you can create more damage to the tranmission then what it was before. The syncromesh is just a to hide the problem, not solve it. Anybody agree or no?

because my car had nasty 3rd gear grind that you could hear 5 miles away and the GM synchromesh stopped my grind in 2 weeks and made my gears go in real smooth. I can put my car in reverse with my pinky.
