Gsr hard to start while cold
My gsr swap has hard time starting while the engines cold. and when it starts rpm will be very low and sometimes it dies , when it actually manages to stay on if i press the gas it feels like it missfires and it dies, when i start the car i have to wait 1-2 minutes to get warm before i can drive it, when it finally warms up rpm stays at 1500rpm, i try adjusting the distributor but no luck, also my distributor is for Ls i just cut one leg off to fit on gsr, i have CEL for o2 sensor, previously my car would loses power while driving like i let go of the gas pedal and come back, and repeat , i ripped the o2 sensor out of the ecu and car doesnt have that problem anymore. help ls
Checked battery its 12.48 so its good.
checked fuel pressure 44psi

Re: Gsr hard to start while cold
sounds like engine coolant temp sensor is bad.
Also clean your IACV for better idle.
Curiouse why removing your O2 sensor solved your power dip issue. If you disconected the battery or the ecu harness that would of reset the ecu sometimes clearing the cell stored clearing the issue, Plug the O2 back its there for a reson and removing the O2 sensor usually doesnt affect engine performance.
Also it looks like its your alternator is going out!!!! or a loose or bad ground but the start up and dimming cluster is a dead give away along with the weak start/starting problem and performance power dip. And the battery light staying on while the engine runs..

Before you buy a replacement sensor....You can monitor the ECT temps in Smanager. It should read close to ambient on a cold start and climb to operating temp (> 160+).
