Fuel Mix too lean
Ran my teg through a computer and it gave me back a code of my fuel mixture too lean according to my o2 sensor. So i replaced the sensor and my fuel mix is still too lean. My engine isnt getting enough gas, and im not getting enuff speed. Also, when I brake fast my car shuts off. Could it be a problem with vaccuum hoses, fuel pump, fuel filter? I ordered new cold air intake, so maybe that can help out. I need suggestions. Thanks H-T'ers

ok..too lean means too much air for the fuel thats getting dumped in..why did you get something that restricts airflow even less? its just gonna get leaner

Re: Fuel Mix too lean (Mike1486)
try a tank of Chevron gas with Techron or their injector cleaner.
Or, pull the injectors and have them ultrasonically cleaned
or get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and crank up the pressure.
Sounds like maybe a vacuum leak. The power brakes use vacuum to assist the braking system. Check the lines going from the brake booster to the manifold.

if i got something that restricts airflow and my fuel mix is lean... wouldnt that be a good thing? less air means less air mixing with the all ready too MUCH air with my gas. imma try changing hoses, filters and cleaning injectors.
