i have a 91 teggy and its throwing a fuel supply code. i checked over everything and it all seems fine except for my fuel pressure is about 10lbs less than it should and the car runs hella rich. which makes no sense to me. when i accelerate it kinda lags like if i was towing a trailer or something. im lucky if i get 200 miles to a tank! i changed the o2 sensor and it has a brand new fuel pump. the CEL wont come on untill it heats up or about 15 minutes. (due to gutted thermostat) i removed the FITV also but it shouldnt effect fuel though should it? im stumped! this gas milage thing sucks!!!!!

if ur fuel pressure is less than it should be id start by replacing ur fuel filter then if that doesnt work check ur fuel pump.

 

well if i undo the vacuum hose that goes from the top of the regulator and cap off the hose and keep the regulator open to the atmosphere the pressure goes to 36lbs. right where it should be.
