Front brake problem Some quick help required
So im trying to do a break job on my 95 integra RS 2 door obd1 NON ABS
the bottom slide pin on the caliper bracket on both sides are seized, they will not move(slide in or out) or come out of the bracket so ican change them thus not allowing me to fit the caliper on over the bottom slide pin so ican bolt it to the bracket cause it doesnt move in like the top one does esp since the pads r thick and new pads..
I tried beating the **** out of the slide pins and even heating them up and no way in hell can i get them out.
anybody run into this problem before?
if i buy new brackets for each side and just put the new slide pins in that I have do you think my problem will be fixed?.
or is there an alternate way of getting my old slide pins out so i no need buy new brackets??
*** I have all new slide pins, 2 for each side so im not worried if i b eat them up i just need them out***
Does the bottom one even come out or is it stationary? i would think they come out right?? cause thats how the caliper slides or functions? can somebody explain this whole slide pin type thing to me? :D
Other probelm is i lost the two things (i dont know what their called -- middle pad retainers?) that go in the middle of the calipers to push in on the pads or w/e to keep them in.
they are #12 in this pic
http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...s=&view=normal
but i cannot find the # or part # in the list so i was wondering if any1 here could get me the part #'s for left/right side.
thanks in advance.
this job is on hold until i get feedback from here. thanks broski's

Those screws aren't an issue - they're convenient, and filled their primary role while the car was travelling down the line being manufactured. Without them, the rotors can move around until the wheel is bolted on; after which they don't matter.

just take off the whole bracket. two 17mm bolts. whole assembly should come right off. then that way if you need to, you could just get a whole new assembly.

If you have the brackets off, run them down to a shop that has a hydraulic press. You can press them out in a few minutes...
I recently picked up new calipers at Cost-less and one of them came with the brackets (!)
Sometimes you can spend more money trying to save a few bucks than if you just buy the replacement...
Good luck
