Caliper bracket problem.....need help
Just the other day I was changing the brake pads on my car and I ran into a little problem that I hope someone can help me with. The bolt that has a boot on the caliper bracket is frozen and I was wondering if there is anyway to brake it loose instead of having to replace the whole bracket. I went to the honda dealer and they said I would have to buy the whole caliper assembly if i want to get just the bracket.

Heat the part where the bolt is threaded in with a propane torch. That sould solve your problem.
best of luck.
