Could be a number of problems.... Antenna bent and won't go up or down, seems like the motor is working.... why don't you either get a new antenna from junk yard, or go for a s2k antenna conversion.

If you're experiencing a noise that sounds similar to when the antenna used to go up and down, thats probably your antenna motor working to get the antenna up and down. If it doesnt go down, then your antenna masthead is probably broken and you need a new one. I recently priced them at an Acura dealership for $60 plus the labor for installation was going to be $82. Not really worth it for an antenna if you ask me. I picked up an S2K shark attack antenna for $30 bucks off ebay and plan on installing that.

Sounds like your mast cable may be broken. You can get a replacement mast off Ebay for about $25 and change it yourself. It's not that hard.

I'll try that. Thanks.
