1992 shut down, no prior signs of problem.
My 92 automatic integra shut down completely on Friday. I was driving about 30mph when the check engine light came on, followed by the oil and battery lights and then the car completely shut down to a hault. Right after i pulled over i could smell burning fumes coming from the car, but not for long. When i tried starting it afterwards, the engine turned over but didnt start. I had to get it towed home. Some conclusions so far are electrical problems. I've noticed this problem mentioned before, but no final answer.
any input would be appreciated.
thanks

Do the ignition control module test. I bet it's the problem. Could also be your fuel pump or main relay, listen for the fuel pump priming first.
