Thats everyonelses way, not the LSD way.
We warranty all of our products, most of everything for life, like our turbo manifolds.

Well when you say streetable, i would assume how well would they work for daily driving. To be honest, the pedal is very stiff and its quite difficult to drive the car smooth at all. It can be done, but its a kit geared for race and track cars.

Re: What clutch is everyone using? 500whp+ (JDMisGOOD)
I had a ats clutch combo in my car. It lasted a year on 330whp 205torque on a stock JDMB16. I loved that clutch. It started slipping bad. I bought a clutchmasters stage 5 and i freaking hate it. To soft. I like hard pressure. Easier to drive. I got a clutchmaster stage 5 for sell.. Only has 4 dyno pulls on it..

I guess I have had really good luck with my clutch then. I have the Exedy Full face race disc with race pressure plate. I think it was $650 with the Exedy flywheel. I have had it on the car for about 4 years on the motor and now for about a month on 300whp/200wtq boosted. The only slipping is the tires! I will buy something from Exedy again when it comes time for a new clutch!

If you want something guaranteed to hold, Clutch Specialties is the way to go, Theres a few Honda Race teams that run them on 600+ hp cars and they always brag that these clutches were the only ones they have had last a full event. They purchased 4 kits as they planned to change them out after every race if need be..
Lets just say they still had 3 extra clutches laying around for a while.

Its not about luck, exedy makes a solid product, they are the largest clutch manufacturer in the world. Their product line just isnt as competitive for high horsepower cars, thats all i was implying. 200wtq can be held with a clutch specialties stage 1 kit.

They actually do offer a twin disk set up. It runs $875 shipped. Its one of their more expensive products, but not something they ever suggest to customers. You get the same performance and almost the same longevity out of their single diaphram extreme pp with agressive compound with a savings of over $300.

Re: What clutch is everyone using? 500whp+ (LSD Motorsports)
well ijust made 480whp, so i think i'm close enough
ACT HD 6pk is my current clutch
i thought about buying a twin disc, but until this cheapo clutch dies, i'm not changing.

Re: What clutch is everyone using? 500whp+ (T4eg)
act xtreme gets my vote. had the clutch for more then 2 years beating on it everyday @ 300hp and with 25-30k on the clutch then hit the dyno @ 619hp then it starts slipping few weeks after tuning. And the clutch only cost me $365, got my money worth it from that clutch!
Hows the tilton 9.6lb flywheel driving on the street? Hows the engagement? Im about to install mines soon.

Its a good kit, However, You can't go wrong with the company that started ACT out.
You save over a hundred bucks for the same quality.
check out this thread on what people think of their stage 3 kit.

the tilton is pretty easy to drive actually, you can feather it out for steet driving. The pedal pressure is not that bad either. seems to work good for me.
