Default wastegate

i have a wastegate problem...the wastegate is external but it is on the same side as the intake to the turbo...what should i do for that? and the wastegate where it is will not let my hood close completely...what should i do?

you should post pictures of it...i'm having a hard time visualizing this

sounds like his gate arm off his manifold is in the wrong spot. (well obviously if you cant close the hood) is it blocking the inlet of your turbo so you can fit an intake on it or is it dumping into your inlet? Pics needed for sure.
